Environmental Policy
It
is the policy of Idemitsu Lubricants America Corporation to assess
all environmental aspects of our operations, and to
conduct our
business accordingly. We will:

strive to minimize associated environmental
impacts

applicable environmental regulations and
standards established by government agencies, our customers,
or other parties with whom we have commitments

review the environmental aspects of the materials we use to make our products

said materials in a manner such that pollution of

actively setting environmental objectives and
targets, and regularly reviewing our performance

Certifications

ILA
first obtained ISO 9002 quality certification in
1996 with SGS Certification Services, Inc. as
registrar

In
1998, ILA achieved QS9000 quality certification
required by the Big 3 automakers, Ford Motor
Company, General Motors and Daimler Chrysler

In
2002, ILA received ISO 14001 certification of
our Environmental Management System

In 2004, ILA
received ISO 9001:2000 quality system
certification

In 2006, ILA received
ISO/TS 16949 quality certification as required
by many of the global automakers. The ISO/TS
16949 standard is a common automotive quality
system requirements catalog based on ISO
9001:2000, AVSQ (Italian), EAQF (French),
QS-9000 (U.S.) and VDA6.1 (German) automotive
catalogs.
